Report Card Process

At the end of each term, please review the directions below in order to complete the necessary steps for adding conduct (citizenship) grades (if it applies to your particular class), comments, and, if applicable, MidTerm and Final Exam grades. Please carefully review and complete the steps below at the appropriate time. Please perform the following steps for each class it applies to.

Step 1

Make sure all your grades for the term are entered into your Grade Book by the designated due date. After the due date, gradebooks will be locked for the current reporting term.

IMPORTANT:

Step 2

Once you have checked your grades for EACH class, you will select Report Card at the right of the screen.

Once there, you will add all your student Citizenship grades, again only for the applicable classes. If you use the Fill button, please make sure to only select the letter grade (E,S,N,U) so only the letter shows up. Make sure you click the SAVE button at the bottom right or they will disappear! This happens a lot so please make sure.

Don’t forget to hit the Save button at the bottom right of the screen!

Step 3

Once finished with conduct (citizenship), you can enter report card comments if necessary. While in Report Card, click the Comments tab at the top of the screen.

Don’t forget to hit the Save button at the bottom right of the screen!

At this screen, you will select any comments you’d like to enter for each student. Click in the Comment box next to each student. Click the Key button at top right and you will then see a list of comments you can choose from, including Modified grades (#47). RenWeb allows you to select either the comment number or the comment itself or both. Please ONLY choose the comment verbiage… NOT the number. You may enter multiple comments.

Step 4 (Only for 7th and 8th Grade Teachers)

Entering MidTerm and Final Exams

Some teachers will need to enter MidTerm and Final Exam grades at the end of the semester. This screen can be found in Report Card section at the right side of the screen of your Gradebook. Once there, you can enter Exam 1 (Midterm) or Exam 2 (Final) grades. If a student is exempt from the exam, just enter “EX” to denote the exemption.

Don’t forget to hit the Save button at the bottom right of the screen
