Save/Convert Google Docs
It is possible to save/convert a Google Doc, Slide, or Sheet to another file format, like Acrobat (PDF), Microsoft Word (DOC), PowerPoint (PPT), and Excel (XLS).
To show how to do this, we'll use a Google Doc as an example. We will convert the Google Doc to a Microsoft Word (DOC) format.
Open the Google Doc you want to convert.
In the File Menu, click Download.
When prompted, save the file to a folder in your Google Drive. Make sure you know where you saved the file so you can retrieve it later.
